I've finally gotten a number of the podcasts off of MetRadio's server, and I'm working on getting them cleaned up. Consider it a new years resolution! Unfortunately, I have no real listeners or readers, so I have no one to keep me accountable. Except for my brother, who keeps whining about getting our session. Ironically, that particular one was doomed. The recording level was too low and it's almost impossible to hear anything. We'll see how some sonic surgery turns out, but I'm not too optimistic about that one.

Kevin Underhill, a products liability and consumer protection lawyer maintains the legal humor blog Lower the Bar. His posts read like Onion articles, but are really just the inanities of the legal world brought to light. Consider, the Californian who stole a car to get to a hearing- on car stealing charges.

Thursday, I show up for my second training session, and the first thing Joe tells me (after needling my hipster threads) that he's throwing me to the wolves. Naturally, everything that could go wrong, did.
At the board, I didn't know how to switch to the correct source, and after introducing the song listeners were treated to the glorious sound of dead air. It was a great time for all involved.
That being said, after another few hours of training, I'm ready to handle the board and will be hosting my show solo tonight. Tune in in the Tivoli to 91.7, or hit up metradio.mscd.edu and listen to the live stream.
Tonight's show will feature a live artist profile, followed by a local showcase of up and coming Prominence. To finish off, we'll enjoy some new releases by artists across the States.
